I offer a free service to collect and dispose of waste cooking oil by recycling it locally into biodiesel.
I will collect any liquid used vegetable oil, including rapeseed oil, soya oil and sunflower oil and any liquid waste will be collected.
Being located just outside Bath, I am able to offer a personal service, and will be happy to remove any quantity of oil, from a single drum to a large stockpile.
I am one of a small number of private individuals in the UK who are recycling used cooking oil to make Bio Diesel for personal use. This process is carried out under exemptions issued by the Environment Agency and HMRC. I am currently collecting waste cooking oil for recycling, free of charge, from pubs, restaurants, care homes and other oil users.
All oil is recycled by myself into biodiesel for personal use, and this is a purely non-profit making service.
I can collect your used or old vegetable oil either on an ad-hoc basis or to a regular collection schedule, whichever suits you best, and I can collect evenings and weekends to suit you.
The minimum collection is only 20 litres, and I can supply easily filled containers for the oil. I can also remove empty oil containers to ensure your storage area is kept clear and tidy.

The collection and recycling of waste cooking oil for the personal production of biodiesel is permitted by the Environment Agency, and does not require a Waste Carriers License for non-commercial use.
I supply a Waste Transfer Notice for all collections to enable you to demonstrate your duty of care in appropriately disposing of your waste oil, to satisfy Food Hygiene Inspections and the Environment Agency.
Collections can be made in-
And all other parts of the BANES area.
If you are outside the area that I cover, below are links to other local recyclers throughout the country who can offer the same level of personal service-
